I normally don't bother about trying to get traffic
from the search engine for one main reason:
It's just too complicated.
Besides, I have many other ways to get traffic to
my websites.
===================================
Side note: I revealed five other proven-to-work
ways to drive targeted traffic to your site in my
audio MP3 product. I know it works because
I’m still using every single one of it:

But I had to admit that traffic from the search engines
is one of the best because it's very targeted.
I was 'forced' to learn and use the search engine
when I started several of my niche websites recently.
Here's why:
It's kinda difficult to get traffic for a niche market
when you're a new 'player'. I mean, if your niche
is 'rose gardening', it's not easy to approach
other websites requesting for joint venture because
you're not 'established' yet.
Besides, you do not have much to offer yet if you're
just starting out.
Don't get me wrong – Jv works for niche marketing.
Jimmy Brown and Ryan Deiss wrote a book just on
a topic of Joint Venture for niche marketing.

Ok ... let's go back to the topic of search engine
ranking (That's the purpose of this letter).
If I can sum up the 'secret' of getting top rank in
Google.com, it would be:
1. Having a lot of useful content related to your niche
on your website
2. Getting a lot of incoming links from other websites
with high Google Page Rank to your website url.
If that's the 'secret', why you're not getting higher
rank than your competitors?
There are many variables to it that I don't know but
for the most obvious reasons are, do you have better or
more content and more incoming links than your competitors?
It's not like a secret recipe to figure that out. Did I
disappoint you that there are actually no real 'secret' to it?
In a nutshell, getting rank at the top position in Google.com
is A LOT OF WORK but something that is very possible.
Are you worried that after you spend so much time
and effort to get top rank in Google.com, your position
might get drop off if they change the algorithm?
Yes, you should. But if you follow the honest and right way,
your chance of getting dropped is very minimal.
Google.com is a search engine, a robot. But it's
managed and created by humans. Decisions on how
Google.com's algorithms works are make by HUMANS. So,
logically, if your site is ranked base on real value,
you should not be worrying that too much.
If Google is going to chance the algorithm, it's changed
to improve better results for their surfers and getting
unwanted sites out of their search engine.
Search Engine's SoftwareI'm not against any of those generator-types of
software to get high rank search engine. But if you want to
use that kind of stuff, you need to be careful and ready to
accept the risk of getting 'kick-off'.
There are software that can generate 1001 webpages in less
than 5 minutes that is embedded with related links in it.
Let me give you an example and I like you to think:
If a surfer searched for the keyword "digital camera
review" on Google.com and the first page is full
of sites that have no ‘real’ content but full of
directories and links, what will happen?
If a surfer don't get the information they are searching
in a search engine (Irrelevant whether it's free or paid
information), they'll get frustrated.
I mean, I would!
When surfers get frustrated, they'll start to use other
search engine that can get them a more accurate result.
If you're a big company like Google.com and you realized that
most of your surfers are going to Yahoo.com because your
surfer's search return comes out with websites full of links
and not user-friendly anymore, what are you going to do?
I guess, with your capacity as a public listed company,
you're going to get your programmers and track down
all unfriendly-user sites that are software generated.
Not only that, you might even want to ban them as a
punish for making you to lose your valuable surfers.
This DOES NOT MEANS that software-generator
websites are not worthwhile to consider. If you can
find an angle to make it USER-FRIENDLY and adds value
to the surfers, than that's a different ball game.
Like, if you have a directory-generator site
to compliment
your existing websites, it does not look as if you're trying
to manipulate Google.com, but you're actually adding value
to the visitor by providing recommended related links.
I think the most powerful reason to use software-generated
sites is that it allows you to get high search engine ranking
very fast. I know of a friend who earns $500 a day from
Google Adsense by doing this!
Even if it's short-term, it's worth to consider taking that risk!
If you want to use websites that are generatored by software to
get high ranking, I would advice you to differentiate it from
other people who are using the same software as you.How would you know if your site is adding value or not?
Be in the shoe of the surfer and ask yourself,
"Does my websites offer values and help the surfers to find the
information they are looking for?"
But for me, I'm sticking with the idea of creating a lot
of content on my sites and getting a lot of incoming links.
One of the ways to get valuable content is, you can use
other people's content from article submission sites like
www.ezinearticles.com or www.goarticles.com
