What’s wrong with my traffic?

Traffic chasing. Crazed for getting website traffic.
How many ebooks or courses you have read that
claimed to show you how to get thousands of traffic
(or millions) if you’ll read their book?

I got several of those books. In fact, some of them
are right. It really works but you're getting
'useless' traffic.

That same effort to get 10,000 useless visitors is
best used to get 100 targeted visitors.

Let me explain.

You see, it's pointless to get traffic unless it's
targeted traffic. Example, if your site is about
'scuba diving' and you're getting traffic from people
interested about parrots, you're not going to make
money from them.

What you want is targeted traffic. It doesn't matter
even if you can get very little traffic of this type
because it will be able to be converted to money.

What do I mean by the word 'targeted' traffic?

This traffic is visitors who are "LOOKING" for you.
For instance, if someone found you from the search
engines, this is a targeted visitor because he's
searching for you indirectly. Like, if you go to
msn.com and searched for "success tips" or "success
ideas", my self-improvement site
(www.motivatedforsuccess.com) is ranked on the first
page. These are visitors that are looking for
information related to becoming successful. So, if I'm
selling any 'how to be successful' products, most
likely I'll gain their attention easily.

The worst type of traffic is the 'forcing' type of
traffic. For instance, spamming is considered a
'forced' traffic strategy because you have never
requested that information but it was mailed to you.

What you want to do right now is just to focus on 2 or
3 targeted traffic generation strategies. Get visitors
to your website and start making money first.

Don't try to chase for more traffic strategies because
there are 101 ways to get traffic. The fastest way to
achieve this is to use pay-per-click advertising like
Google Adwords. You'll be able to get targeted traffic
instantly if you know how to advertise properly.

Another good strategy is writing and publishing
articles online.
If someone visited your website
because he found you from reading your article, you
can bet that he's very interested in what you do.
Also, he has already accepted you as an expert in your
niche and this will increase the responsiveness.

Once you start getting targeted visitors to your
website, you need to know how to monetize the traffic.
So the next part is to learn copywriting skills and
apply sales conversion strategies to sell your
products there.

I've been contacted by people who told me that their
website is getting traffic each month but they're not
making money online. This is because they're not
selling any products that are related to what the
visitors are searching for! Or maybe, it's not
presented well enough for them to buy.

Don't worry about asking your visitors to buy your
stuff. By asking for sales, you'll see some sales
rolling in very soon. Ask for orders! Try it if you
don't believe me.

In conclusion, what I'm stressing is that the key to
success online is getting targeted traffic -- not just
'plain' traffic because it's much easier to monetize
targeted traffic with excellent sales copywriting on
your webpage.

PS: Watch out for tomorrow's email about
how a low-profile marketer is raking in as much as US$3,500
from 100 visitors per day only. I know it's hard
to believe but I'll show you tomorrow. Side story, I
know this is possible because I've seen with my own eyes
how a joint venture partner of mine had generated
$21,492 sales from 839 visitors only recently.

The best way to sell your product

Do you want to know the best way to sell your product
that will almost guarantee you to make money online?

Get a joint venture partner in your same niche market
to promote your product to his mailing list.

I can bet you'll see sales in less than 24 hours if
it's a quality joint venture partner. My previous
Joint Venture Partner generated US $21,492 sales in
just couple of days by just mailing to his list.

I said it's the best way, but I did not say it's the
easiest way. In fact, it's one of the toughest ways to
achieve this strategy
. But -- It's very rewarding.
Getting someone to consider promoting your product is
a lot of work. I can't teach all of the joint venture
tips in this short content because it'll take a book
or course to teach this. However, I can tell you how
to avoid the big mistake and increase your result.

Side note:

Breakthrough Joint Venture Tactics Vol II Audio
Training and Joint Venture Tactics of the Pros are
excellent courses about how to be successful with
joint ventures. Both of these are given for free as
bonuses to the 50 students of the "Chan Do" Internet
Success System. In Week #5 and #6 of this coaching
program, you'll learn 5 more powerful strategies how
to get targeted traffic to your website by using joint
venture marketing. Seats are very limited. If you want

Most people send out joint venture proposals to the
wrong JV Partners and lose doing business with them!

You see, I know this because I receive a lot of joint
venture proposals. If you're a long-time subscriber of
mine, you'll notice that I hardly promote or endorse a
third party product. The reason is, most of the time
the proposal does not meet the expectations. I won't
endorse non-useful products to my subscribers. Never
even if I'm paid 100% commission because it's
important that the products recommended will help my
subscribers to make money online.

The major mistake I've seen is people are trying to
joint venture with partners that have a head-to-head
competing product
rather than one complimenting the
joint venture’s existing product!

Example, I have an audio course about niche marketing.
At the same time, I'm currently selling other niche
marketing courses that I have resale rights to. Then I
have a coaching program on this topic as well. So,
what's the possibility of me promoting someone else’s
niche marketing course?

Rarely unless there are other perks involved. But let's
say the major influence of considering the offer is
to make affiliate commission. That would be my
LAST PRIORITY to promote a product that is my competitor
and in conflict with what I'm teaching!

Most people approach joint venture partners to promote
a product that is competing with the joint venture's
existing product.

So what kind of products might I want to promote that
compliment the products that I have?

In this case, I might consider promoting niche private
labels rights to my subscribers if I'm teaching niche
marketing. Or maybe, software to locate niche markets
from the internet. Basically, I’ll consider promoting
products that are complimentary, NOT COMPETING.

Seek joint venture partners that have complimenting
products to yours.

Like, if you're selling a blogging software, your
ideal joint venture partners would be people who sell
courses on how to make money online from blogging.

Make sense?

In this case, I would be able to sell some blogging
software as a JV Partner but you'll definitely get
better result by contacting a more targeted partner.
You see, the efforts you have to put in are the same...
so why not approach a more qualified partner like
someone who is in the "How to blog" niche?

You still want to approach as many joint venture
partners as possible, but start with the more targeted
potential partners first because it'll be more effective
.

Let me give you another example so that you can
relate. If your ebook title is "77 Ways To Potting
Train Your Dog", your suitable and quality Joint
Venture Partner would be the author of "How To Train
Your Dog To Sit And Fetch" because his customer
would be interested in your ebook.

Of course, this concept will NOT be applicable if
there are other influences in getting the joint
venture to agree to the promotion. Other influences
can be relationship, high affiliate commission, 2-way
JV swap, unique product, additional benefits, free
product access, etc.

Finding complimentary product is just one of the
important keys of selecting a Joint Venture Partner
successfully.

When other influences are in the picture, a joint
venture might consider promoting a competing product
of his. That's normal and ... logical.

So, are you seeking quality joint venture partners?

Another tip about seeking joint ventures is, start
small if you're just starting out. Don't approach the
'big boys' of your niche market when you're starting
out no matter how tempting it is. Get the ball rolling
first because if you spoil your first impression when
you approach them, you're risking to lose doing
business with them forever. Get a few small deals done
and you'll be more motivated and inspired to keep it
growing. Then, go for the "BIG BOYS" and offer a win/win
deal for them.

You "Chan Do" It.

Quick Money Vs. Slow Money

A lot of people jump on the internet bandwagon
hoping to make money online. That's a good choice
because I strongly believe it is EASIER to start a
business online than offline. And the opportunity
online is just so huge!

The first thing you need to make up your mind is whether
you're looking for "quick money" or "slow money".

Get this, either of these is bad or good. Both of
them are good. Both of them will put money into your
pocket.

They are just how they are and each of them has a
different method to achieve success. Understanding
what you're going after is more important to get the
results you want.

So, are you looking for quick money ... or slow
money online?

I can understand that most people would want to gain
quick money. I mean, who wants to wait to see an
income from the internet! Duh. The faster it is, the
better it is. But generally, slow money will provide a
more consistent and stabile income for you.
If you're
planning to retire or quit your job with your internet
income, then go for the slow money.

Honestly, you can earn quick money online as fast as
within 24 hours. Here's how to do it ...

Pick a product that you want to promote as an
affiliate. If you don't know where to find products to
promote as an affiliate, the easiest place to find them
is at ClickBank.com. Once you got it, go and buy some
pay-per-click advertisement at Google Adwords. You're in
business in less than 24 hours. Will you make money or not?
It really depends on your marketing skill by then.

That's QUICK MONEY. The problem with quick money
is, you're not really building a business for yourself.
You're making money, but not building a business.
Building a business doesn't means that you're
making money.

Another way of making quick money is buying solo ads
in a newsletter to promote an affiliate product that
you know is converting very well.

A slow money strategy is focused on building an
asset for your business.

Some of the strategies include spending months to get
high ranking in search engines, creating your own
brand, building relationships with Joint Venture
Partners, etc.

If you can't decide whether you want quick or slow
money from the internet, just ask yourself ...

"Do you want to build a business or just want to
make money?"

I'll say, do both but focus more on "slow money"
because it'll pay off many times better. The "quick money"
will help you to pay off your current bills while your
"slow money" will give you peace of mind each night
when you sleep. Small sacrifices but huge reward.

Finally, an analogy to this concept is the
Hunter or Farmer position.

A Hunter wakes up to hunt for food to eat everyday.
If he did not get any animal when he’s out hunting,
he'll be hungry.

A Farmer plants vegetables and fruits to be harvested.
During that period of time, a Farmer doesn't get
to eat any food until they’re ripped.

So, be both -- A Hunter and a Farmer.

Doing It Wrong And You'll Lose Subscribers!

If you have a mailing list, one of the fastest ways to
increase the size of your mailing list is to get your
existing subscribers to tell their friends about it.
Word of mouth marketing is an excellent strategy – It
works offline and online.

So logically, many mailing list/ezine owners put a PS
at the end of their email telling their subscribers
this:

P.S: If you find valuable tips in this email that
you’re receiving, feel free to forward it to your
friends without editing the content. Thanks.

or ...

P.S: Do you know any of your friends that will benefit
from this content that you’re reading now? If so,
forward it to your friends!

And there many other ways how you can format the
sentence of the PS.

Does this works?

Yes.

But it's a two-headed sword. In fact, if you do it
wrong, it can decrease your subscription rates! That's
a bold claim but you’re going to find out why.

You know, the problem with people teaching internet
marketing based on what they read and not what the
practice is ... they've got it wrong. Or, they just follow
it like cookie cutter without evaluating the strategy.

What I'm going to share with you in another
'underground' tip that I've personally found based on
this common tip I've shared just now.

Without you realizing, when your loyal subscriber
starts forwarding HIS email to his friends, he'll
forward the EXACT email that you had sent to him. This
means, he might end up forwarding the one-click
unsubscribe link to his friends as well!

Guess what happens when a lot of his friends see this
email?

They can accidentally click on the unsubscribe link ...
or purposely click it because they think they're
subscribed to a spam list!
Hey, you'll never know what
other people are thinking of. Instead of trying to get
the words out about your newsletter, you’re risking to lose
a LOYAL SUBSCRIBER who is an advocator of your newsletter.

I don't know about you -- But I'll prefer to have 1
loyal subscriber that reads my email than 10
subscribers who don't.

But this doesn't mean that you cannot apply this
strategy anymore. You can still do that but create a
"tell-a-friend" page for them to invite their friends
to read your newsletter instead!

Here's how you can do it on your P.S instead:

P.S: If you find valuable tips in this email that
you’re receiving, feel free to invite your friends to
subscribe by going to [the tell-a-friend webpage url].

or,

P.S: Do you know any of your friends that will benefit
from this content that you're reading now? If so,
invite your friends to subscribe to name> for free at
[the tell-a-friend webpage url]!

I know it's 2-step -- but is it worth risking losing a
loyal subscriber?

What is a 'tell-a-friend' page? Just browse lower to
this blog and you'll see it. And if you find valuable
tips in what you have read, please invite your friends
to read it too? :-)

All the best.

You "Chan" Do It!

quietly while others are trying to come out with all
sort of complicated strategies. To see proof, just

Why Your Product Won’t Make You Money

Do you really think simply having your own
product to sell online will make you money?

I'm going to disappoint you if you think that's
true. It's not about the product. Yeah, having
your own product is a GREAT advantage but having
the asset of your online business
will make you
money. A LOT of money. Keep that in mind -- Own
an asset, not a product if you want to be
successful online.

You'll probably figure out what's your asset. To
cut the chase, I'll tell you ... The asset of your
online business is your database. That's it. If
you'll just focus your online business model to
build a database of customers and subscribers,
you'll make money online irregardless of whether
you have a product of your own or not.

Now, if you combined that with niche marketing --
You're going to laugh your way to the bank.
Imagine having a huge database of people
interested in "model trains" and NO ONE else is
trying to market to them. You'll have their full
attention each time you recommend a product
related to "model trains" for them to buy!

Less competitors/marketers, more profit
to your pocket.

Why bother learning how to create your own
product? What you should focus on is HOW TO MAKE
MONEY online. Creating and selling your own
product is just one of the many ways.

Build an asset. Build your own database -- A
mailing list.

If you're not sure how to do that ...

Not only will I teach you how to create your own
product, I'll show how to build your own asset
with a step-by-step profit model in the "Chan Do"
Internet Success System Coaching Program. I'm
only taking 50 students and 44 seats are already
sold. So, this means I've got 6 spots left and
I’m not kidding about closing it when it reaches
50. Secure a seat now at:

These 12 Web Traffic Strategies

The first time I met Stephen Pierce live
was when we were speaking for the World
Internet Summit Seminar back in Oct 2005.

Why am I telling you this?

Because after days of spending time
with him, I got to know that this guy walks
his talk. No fluff, but just deliver real
results. One of his marketing ideas he gave me
has already generated $11,970.00. Just one.

What he teaches is no-nonsense stuff
and techniques that he has personally used.

Stephen Pierce, a personal friend and
mentor, has created a new video course of
over 2 hours showing you how to get traffic
from 12 "cheap & ugly" (but brutally
effective) strategies.

You can see what these 12 strategies are
by clicking this link:

http://www.youchandoit.com/recommends/rush

If you order Rush Hour Web Traffic Video
Course from the link above today, I'll give to
you a special bonus.

Back in Oct 2005 that time, I got to know
Morgan Westerman as a personal friend too.

He's the founder of TheInterviewWithGod.com
and he has over 140,000 customers from
152 different countries. {FIRSTNAME}, that's
a big accomplishment.

One of his powerful traffic generation strategies
is to give away free e-cards. He generates an
average of 50,000 visitors monthly to his
website by just giving away free e-cards!

Order Rush Hour Web Traffic and you'll get an
exclusive one hour private audio interview I've
conducted with Morgan Westerman how he
attracts traffic by using free e-cards.

Once you have ordered Rush Hour Web Traffic,
forward the order confirmation email/receipt
to patric@youchandoit.com and I'll then
personally send the bonus.
