The Secrets To Make More Money Than Selling eBooks

When you read this, I don't want you to get misunderstood that selling an ebook or a course is not profitable, okay? It is, but selling "THIS" makes you more. :-)

So what's "THIS"? It's software application.

Just ask yourself this - let's say you're a stock trader, as a consumer, would you buy a course that will teach you how to analyze stock charts or a software that will create the chart and analyze for you?

I don't have to answer that for you. It'll be easier to sell the solution than teaching someone how to do the solution. (Yeah, I know there will be people who want to learn about the solution - that's why you need to read more of this post where I'll explain where the money is.)

The other cool part with software is you can sell it as a subscription like how John Delavera did with his automation software previously. (But now he is giving it for free. Click here to get it.)

If you know of a smart internet marketer by the name of Mike Filsaime, his 'killer' is Paydotcom.om, which is a type of 'software'.

2. Go out of 'internet marketing' niche - there are unlimited potential of selling software in niche markets. You could have a software product in the health niche, pets niche, financial niche or whatever niche you're pursuing. You'll make a killing there because everyone else is still selling the classic ebook.

3. Because there's so much demand for people wanting to know how to make money with software application, make money by teaching them to do this! (Remark: Make sure you have the expertise or knowledge if you want to do this.) Some quick stats - "software development" - 673,000 searches, "software design" - 823,000 searches, "software application" - 60,500 searches, "application software" - 165,000 searches and so on.

4. Branch out to uncharted territory - go into applications for Facebook (more than 200 million active users), Iphones (more than 10 million owners), mobiles, etc. You can either teach how to make money with applications or develop your own to sell to generate income for yourself. Whichever options you go, you can make a killing there and nobody will know.

5. Sell your software application away and develop another new one. Sometimes, you don't even need to make money with your own application to sell it! For instance, if you have an Iphone application that is being used by 10,000 users now and you're getting new downloads everyday - I believe there will be companies that are interested to buy your application so that they can reach these 10,000 potential prospects for other stuff they have to sell.

The best part is, you don't need to be a programmer to be a software application owner - it's about knowing how to get it developed by others and being an entrepreneur to monetize it. A good example would Bill Gates or me. We're not programmers.

Coming Up With Idea For Content

Let's say you've identify your niche as 'fix relationship problem' and you want to create some content to generate traffic from the search engines, social websites, etc. These can be done by submitting articles, blogging, social bookmarking, etc.

Go to Yahoo Answers and search for variations of your keyword. This will tell you what problems people are having and what kind of solutions are being given to them.

If you pay really close attention, you will pick up a couple great titles for articles and a list of different things that you can write about.

Let's say your niche is "fix relationship problem" -- what we are going to do right now is head on over to http://answers.yahoo.com and type in a variation of our keyword, for now we will stick with "relationship problem".

One of the first threads I see is:

*How To Express Your Feeling To Your Love Partner

Do you see what I am doing here? I am letting people that are having problems in this area of their life determine what my content is going to be so that there is not a whole lot of guess work. I do not have to wonder whether or not my content is something that people will want to read. People are already telling me that they are searching for this type of information to help them in their lives and their relationships.

Lets take a look at the next question and do the same thing. Even though this might seem repetitious on my part, I want to be absolutely certain that by the time you are done reading this technique you will be able to put it aside and carry all of these steps out on your own easily and with confidence that you are doing it correctly.

Now that we have a couple article titles, the next thing we have to do is come up with content for the articles. This is what I like to use Google and my own life experiences for.

You can also read other articles that are in circulation and put your own spin on things. I know that when I read almost any article, when I am done, I have ideas for how I could expand that topic in three different directions. This does take a little bit of creativity on your part, but the more you do it, the easier it will come to you.

We now know how to come up with content to write about, so it is time to put it into action.

There are many reasons why you want to turn your website into a community-style website but the most powerful reason is to grow it virally. If you're doing niche marketing like I do, it's very common for your market to share with others when they found valuable resources - isn't that's how social marketing works?

And when you add the brand "Google" to it, it spreads like wildfire. There are software like Viral Inviter which allows the market to 'invite' their friends to check out your stuff but the only problem I see is this - how many people would actually dare to put their Twitter, Gmail, Facebook, etc INTO your website? But they might use Friends Connect to invite their friends because they trust Google.

How We Launch Our Latest Product (A look behind the scene)

My latest internet business is The Success Trace Private Membership, a program focuses on showing you how to achieve success in 5 areas of life - personal growth, financial wealth, health, relationship and spirituality. This the program that I have great passion in because I know this is the 'core' for anyone's success in life (it has nothing to do with internet marketing). In the program, it also includes my future personal interview with success gurus like Ted Nicholas, Mark Joyner, Dr. Joe Vitale, etc.

Today, I like to share with you how we promote it so that you can learn from real life example.

I've done mainly 3 strategies to get traffic - social marketing, Google Adwords and launching an affiliate program. Others include article marketing, blogging, etc.

Guess which one beats everything else? Yup, running an affiliate program.

No kidding.

Here are the 7 factors we've included to make this strategy a success:

1. Affiliate Tracking System

The standard affiliate tracking system is using cookies technology and that works fine but you'll be having just another affiliate program. We took a step further by creating an affiliate tracking system that embeds the affiliate's ID into our autoresponder when the visitors subscribe. This way, whenever we email out, it goes out with our affiliate's affiliate link!

Here's what I mean...

Let say John was referred by an affiliate to subscribe to our email list at successtrace.com. 3 days later, we send out a promotional email to John to sign up Success Trace Private Membership.

In a normal scenario, the affiliate will not get credited for the affiliate commission once John cleared his cookies. But NOT IN OUR AFFILIATE PROGRAM. When we email out, our technology will make sure that the email that John gets is with THE AFFILIATE'S AFFILIATE LINK - so regardless of whether he cleared his cookies or not, it doesn't matter because he'll be cookied again with the affiliate link.

In a nutshell, if we promote Success Trace to John at anytime, affiliate WILL EARN COMMISSION when he signs up. Totally hands-off at affiliate's end so that they can still expect to get paid in the future for our in-house promotions. And most importantly, they're protected from losing commission.

With so many competition out there, your affiliate program just got to stand out that you'll need to take care of your affiliate's interest as much as possible.

2. Affiliate Commission Payout

"Seasoned" affiliate marketers don't want to wait 60 days to get paid. They need the cash because that's what they do, that's how they generate income, they're affiliate marketers. We pay out the commission twice a month by using Clickbank.com. This way, not only affiliates get paid prompt, the payout will always be accurate and they can even get paid directly to their bank accounts (Clickbank has this feature for a few selected countries).

3. Affiliate Promotion Tools

Whether you are having newbie or experienced affiliate marketers, you got to have affiliate promotion tools that they can 'plug and play' immediately to make money with. There are two main reasons to this -- first, you want them to work as little as possible and secondly, you should know the BEST WAY to promote your product. When it comes to providing affiliate tools, you need to have the 'pitch promotion tools' like solo ads, banners, etc and the 'content promotion tools' like articles, video content, etc.

There are other factors involved to attract affiliates (I'm not referring to JV Partners) but I guess these 7 factors did very well for us. Next time when you launch yours, do these and let me know if you got more affiliates than your usual.
